Support via Lightning and Bitcoin has been an option for those wishing to support TEN for several years now, however with the changing landscape and lack support via this pathway, an economic analysis showed that it was costing more money to power and maintain the node than it was making via that support pathway.
Unless there’s a refocus by the community then this is unlikely to return, or if it does it will be in another form.
